Our Programs

Anishinaabek Wiidosendiwak offers programs to support HIFN families at every stage. Our programs focus on prevention, advocacy, and culturally grounded services, keeping children safe, connected, and supported in their community.

HIFN Band Representative Program

The Band Representative Program (or First Nation Representative Services (FNRS)) is HIFN’s foundation for supporting families. Staff provide culturally grounded guidance, advocacy, and prevention-focused support. We help families navigate child welfare, access resources, and keep children connected to Anishinaabe culture, teachings, and community. Our staff work to strengthen family connections and protect children.
